Is it true Database Word reference sources require more resources (Ram) than text resources?
No. If you are using Access or Excel this is true due to the application itself. My Word Book actually uses less than half of the resources of a commonly used ___ ___ Notebook application.
Can I change the font used in My Word Book?
No. There is really no need to, when pasting text into Word, Word selects the font used in your document. We selected an easy to read font for reference use.
Can I import my existing Access or Excel word list into My Word Book?
Yes. Steps vary depending on the version of Access or Excel you are using. Some reformatting of your existing records may be required. You must have Access installed to import.
Can I move my Li'l Red Notebook© words to My Word Book?
Yes. Words can be moved individually using the Copy/Paste function or as a group. Moving words as a group you will lose the word find feature. Should you decide to move the words as a group, we recommend the following procedure.
Create an Index in My Word Book and name it LRN. In the MWB, Word section type in the LRN folder tab names you used. Using Select All, then Copy. You can Paste the LRN word list in the comment section of MWB.
How many words and comments can I put in My Word Book?
The database will store a gigabyte of data. That's more data than a set of encyclopedias.
