I really like the fact that I can put information in the comment section. It is really helpful to put notes in there pertaining to the entry I have made.

The category section and labeling was actually quite simple. It was actually too simple. I was looking for some sort of edit button in the beginning to change the labels, but then I finally realized that all I had to do was to highlight the one I wanted to change and type in the new category name and then save it.

About rating "My Word Book" to other reference sources, I would have to say I really like it. Although, the only comparison I have is with the trial version of the LRN, and the LRN does not allow me to add comments, which I really like.

Just thought I would let you know. I threw away all my spread sheets, databases, and notebooks and use My Word Book instead. I have categories for everything from acronyms, labs, specialties and for doctors' names and addresses. When I find new drugs and procedures, I simply add them to My Word Book while transcribing for instant access. I highly recommend this software to students, new medical transcriptions, as well as seasoned professionals.
